Lt. Robert Dominick Cirri

September 11, 2009

Lieutenant Robert Cirri was a hero and was killed while attempting to rescue the victims trapped in the World Trade Center.

The lieutenant was an instructor at the Port Authority Police Academy and had responded to the scene from Jersey City, New Jersey. He and four other officers were attempting to carry a woman to safety when the North Tower collapsed.

Lieutenant Cirri was 39 and is survived by his wife, six children and stepchildren, and his parents. He was an extremely caring and loving husband, son, and father. Our thoughts and prayers go to his family. He will always be remembered and greatly appreciated for his service on that day.

I was a friend to Robert when i was three. He still is a friend to me and a wonderful hero.I logged on the internet to find out more about him when i seen that he had died in the rumble of the World Trade Center.I read he and four other officers were attempting to carry a woman to safety when the North Tower of the World Trade Center collapsed. I also heard that his body was recovered at age 39 and i almost broke down crying when i read both.I think that robert is a hero in heaven with god. I seen a picture of two angels hugging a firefighter. Im only 11 years old and know so much about 9/11 and war.My prayers and blessings are with Robert. Forever in my heart my love will be with him and all other victims. God bless america and god bless robert.
