Farah Jeudy

September 10, 2009

Farah Jeudy worked for AON in Tower 2 of the World Trade Center.   She was an administrative assistant on the 99th floor.  The morning of Sept.11 2001 she was probably organizing her day, catching up on messages left, and answering emails.   Farah was a devout Jehovah’s Witness, who attended worship meetings at least 3 times a week.  She loved to travel and socialize.   She was born in Haiti and emigrated to the USA when she was 4 years old.   Friends remember her sense of humor, and her joyous laughter.

Farah would probably have placed her trust in God that morning, when she realized the enormity of her predicament.  God, in his infinite wisdom, called her home.

Never forget that day, and the people who were taken from us so unexpectedly.  Never forget Farah.

I think of Farah often and always on Sept 11. I knew her only briefly but her faith and positive nature stay with me.
